Founded in 1996, Karamtara Engineering Limited is a manufacturing company focused on products used in renewable energy and power transmission sectors. It offers a wide range of solutions including solar mounting structures (fixed-tilt and tracker systems), fasteners for solar and transmission projects, and hardware fittings for overhead transmission lines. The company is also expanding into the wind energy segment by setting up a facility for manufacturing wind turbine towers, expected to begin operations in FY 2026. It has a strong global presence, exporting to more than 50 countries across multiple regions like North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. A key strength of the company is its backward integration, including large in-house galvanizing facilities that support efficiency and cost control. Karamtara serves OEMs, EPCs, and independent power producers with repeat business from major global solar energy players. Its product range also includes lattice towers for high-voltage transmission lines and a variety of industrial fasteners used in sectors like solar, wind, telecom, and automotive. As of September 30, 2024, the company had 530 permanent employees and over 400 factory workers.
